TELSTRA DRUG AWARE PRO
Thursday! Must be day 4 of the Telstra Drug Aware Pro at Margaret River. If there’s a sweeter place to be hiding out from a boss I’ve yet to find it. Sunshine, fine wine, finer women and waves – big, beautiful, freight train lefts, straight out of the magazine. Yesterday, Mambo surfer, Blake Thornton continued his winning streak with a victory over former world champ, Mark Occhilupo to advance to the round of 24 while back on the beach, former WCT and current Mambo real estate advisor, Dayyan Neve was barking commentary into the Drug Aware mic, the shy little thing he is.
Coming up: this weekend Mambo artists will be on site to stencil boards, and anything else you’d like to cheer up on Friday and Saturday from 11am to 12pm and 2pm to 3pm. To loosen up, the boys will be performing ‘live art’ from Today at the competition site. The finished artwork will be auctioned with the proceeds being used to provide on going assistance to victims of the Margaret River bushfires. And, for those of you wanting a picture to send home to mum, Mambo will be setting up a photo booth on Friday and again on Saturday, from 11am to 2pm. Bring your comb! More as it happens.
