IT’S A WRAP!
What do they say? If you can remember the Dungog Film Festival then you probably weren’t there? Well, we were, and we’ve got the snaps to prove it. Dungog’s film-to-party ratio requires a bit of training prior to the event and our week spent in camp, at Manly Wine proved beneficial. While the following pictures tell a 1,000 words, here’s some additional copy for context:
Boarded the train Friday, late. Lubricated the track with ‘Jack’. Next morning, stretching, and protein mix hops. Went for a run (more, a walk). Dungog plastered with Mambo designed Festival posters. Nice. Films for the rest of the day. All, quality gear. Warmed up for the opening night party in the Happy High Herbs van. All natural … all, very happy. Opening night: #1 with a bullet! Sunday: kicked off with head in a bucket of cold water and a breakfast of bottled oxygen. Films for the rest of the day. Festival finished somewhere out of town, in a shed, around 2am. Arrived at the station in the back of a ute. Arrived back in Sydney – more luck than good planning. Two days on and most of the crew are back at work. A good result, all things considered.
