Congrat’s to division winners, Dusty Payne and Carissa Moore, and to Mambo team rider, Jay Quinn for a Top 5 finish. And, 3 thumbs up to Mambo’s FESTIVAL OF FLIGHT winners: Kolohe Andino (Official), Blake Thornton, and lunatic double-act, Dan Ross and Jay Thompson who took out Most Entertaining Wave with an 8 – 10ft plunge down the face of a Margy bomb, in a kayak. And Aussie Jesus said, “Let there be waves,” and there were waves. The bad run of surf has ended and the east coast of Australia is full of fun, reasonably sized, waves. Mambo surfer Luke Cheadle is lapping it up too, his “out of office” meetings have doubled and we have the feeling those “meetings” are taking place in the numerous beach carparks on the Northern Beaches.
