GOIN’ BANANAZ AT THE MARGARET RIVER PRO
Back home after an epic week of surf, art & general chaos at the Margaret River Pro. Congrat’s to division winners, Dusty Payne and Carissa Moore, and to Mambo team rider, Jay Quinn for a Top 5 finish. And, 3 thumbs up to Mambo’s FESTIVAL OF FLIGHT winners: Kolohe Andino (Official), Blake Thornton, and lunatic double-act, Dan Ross and Jay Thompson who took out Most Entertaining Wave with an 8 – 10ft plunge down the face of a Margy bomb, in a kayak. PUMPING WAVES FORSTER MAMBO’S TALENT….
A few weeks back when the sky’s were sunny and the waves were peeling, MAMBO’s crew jumped in the car and headed to Forster on the NSW east coast for a mini surfing safari. Breaking speed limits on the way up just to make sure we got there before the swell dropped, we were presented with some of the cleanest surf on the east coast.
Check out the vid by Sam Page, that he also features in, with some of MAMBO’s finest, Dayyan Neve and team captain Luke Cheadle with a special guest appearance from master of the air Ben Godwin.

BREAKFAST WITH THE FOLKS

This weekend just passed Luke Cheadle decided he missed his Mum way too much and that he was well overdue for a bit of pampering, so the car was packed and Sydney was left behind for a bit of R and R on the South Coast. It just so happened that the little weekend getaway coincided with a nice east swell that was sure to detonate right on a freshly groomed sand bank at his favourite beach break. Here are the resulting shots. P.S. For Luke’s sake we decided not to include the photo’s of him snuggled up, asleep in the arms of his Mum……..photo’s by Ben Everden.
