Luke is the Mambo surf team manager. He was, until recently on the WQS world surf tour before somehow convincing management that he would be of more value to Mambo “free surfing” and attending the red carpet events that he’d normally miss chasing points on the soul destroying and lifestyle disruptive, Qualifying tour. Luke is also the Mambo website ‘ringmaster’, creating content for both the Mambo channel and his own velvetsea.tv. When not in the office – which is often the case, Luke can be found or not be found, exercising the “free surf trips” option in his contract that was buried in a two page slab of fine print and further obscured by coffee “accidently” spilt onto the document by Luke, at the time of signing. In 2010 Luke was voted the Cleo Staff Choice for Bachelor Of The Year, which is another reason that we like having him around: he knows models.

Luke is currently working on a surf/art/skate (“but mostly surf”) film with Mambo artists, Brent Smith and Luke Okay. The film, to be released by Velvet Sea will feature footage from Australia, Europe, South America and Indonesia.
