If not yet a national treasure then actor and veteran Mambo wearer, Ryan Kwanten is at the very least, an Australian household name. Ryan was born in the Sydney beachside suburb of Queenscliff – on the same bus route as the Mambo studio. He kicked off his acting career on the set of Hey Dad! before successfully auditioning for the part of Vinnie Patterson in the Australian phenominus soapenon, Home and Away. He left the show in 2002 and shortly after moved to the US to continue his career. Several film and television appearances followed including a lead role in the popular, Summerland. He is currently starring in the hit HBO series, True Blood.
Ryan joined Mambo in 2011. “My (his) first pair of boardshorts were made by Mambo”. As well as getting us into all those LA clubs that would normally kicked us out of the queue, Ryan has recently collaborated with Mambo to produce, KLOTHES x KWANTEN, a range of exclusive one-off tees for the US market.
